Pierre Cousyn is a graduate of the National Equitation School in Saumur, France, home of the prestigious Cadre Noir.  He holds degrees in both Moniteur and Instructeur (an Instructor diploma in which a graduate prepares professionals) and has successfully competed in France, Germany & Switzerland.  He specializes in Dressage training and teaching, from beginner to Grand Prix, emphasizing lightness and harmony with the horse.

Pierre's teaching style unites the bio-mechanics of the horse with the classical principles of dressage. He firmly believes that a strong foundation is essential, and that every problem can be solved by going back to the basics.

Today, Pierre resides in NY State and travels the US giving clinics in both Dressage and Jumping.
